Gurugram City Government Hires Private Agency to Register Pet Dogs

1. On November 15 2022, the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum in Gurgaon issued directions to the MCG to ban pet dogs of breeds – Pitbull Terriers, Tosa Inu, American Staffordshire Terrier, Fila Brasileiro, Dogo Argentino, American Bulldog, Boerboel, Kangal, Tarnjak, Bandog, Sarplaninac, Japanese Tosa, Akita, Mastiffs, Rattweiler, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Canario, Akbash and Moscow Guard Dog, Wolf Dog and German Shepherd.
